One More Lazy Day To Go

Hopefully you're all enjoying the sweet music that is playing on my blog. With careful consideration, I chose the seven songs to the right. You can click any song your little heart desires; I know that Elton may not be your first choice. I'm not cool enough to have the latest and greatest music available, so this'll have to suffice.

As the title says, I have one more day of freedom before it's back to hitting the books. This spring term I'm taking physical science (3 credits), history of creativity I (3 credits), and T.A.ing MCom 320. I'm actually really nervous about the workload, especially mixed with this beautiful weather--all I want to do is play outside! Anyway, so I'm just sitting in my apartment, making a mental list of things I need to do, but a lot of those things involve amazon.com books and top-secret documents that are in transit at the moment.

One thing that I could do is clean the apartment, but I do that about three times every day as it is. I love it when people come into our apartment and comment on the cleanliness, nice spirit, and warmth that's here. :) Ever since Ashlee and I assembled the bookcase and rearranged the living room, we've had over four boys tell us how inviting our apartment is. (Peculiar, yet very welcome.) One of these days I just know that my roommates will learn to put the dishes in the dishwasher. ;) I feel like such a mom already. Good job, Mom! I've turned into you!

It's really different having so many people move out of the ward. A lot of people graduated, others went home for the summer, and some moved. It's sad, really. This year was a complete 180 from last year--remember, I was in an upperclassmen/RM ward. Although the average age in my ward now is about 23, everyone is so fun and down to earth. Since a lot of people were missing during church yesterday, my roommate Ashlee played the music during sacrament meeting, and I led the music. I'll go ahead and brush my shoulders off now. I know you all are thinking, "Well, leading the music is really not a big deal at all," but I'll have you know that I've never done it before, and I got a lot of compliments afterwards. :) Still brushing my shoulders off. Okay, it's actually not a big deal at all. You got me.

Jordan just gave me some suggestions about what I could do today:

Start scrapbooking--I don't have the supplies, nor the pictures to do so.
Vacuum--our carpet is not worth vacuuming. Actually, take a look under the couch; it's nasty.
Organize every closet in my house--I have one closet to organize, and it's as organized as it's gonna get.
Paint my living room again--can't really do that seeing as how I'm renting this place.
Write in my journal (nonexistent)--nonexistent for me as well.
Have a garage sale--don't have a garage, but I could sell my things at Plato's Closet for $2 or donate them to DI.
Cook dinner--already planning on doing that, but will probably start around 6 or 7.
Floss my teeth--don't have any floss. :/ Yikes! Does that really take a long time?
Dust--that would cause me to sneeze too much. Plus, I'll leave that for cleaning check.
Disinfect the bathroom and kitchen--you can't really disinfect our apartment.
Buy some flats at Old Navy--okay, perhaps I'll consider doing that.
Feed the cats (we’re pet sitting)--can you say red eyes, sneezing, wheezing, and Hell?
Take a nap--I got over 9 hours of sleep last night. :( Don't be jealous; that'll change soon.
Do May’s visiting teaching a day early--how about do April's visiting teaching on the last day?
Organize the office--what office?
Paint my kitchen again--rent.
Mop the bathroom and kitchen--our kitchen has linoleum that is curling up around the edges. It's worthless!
Grocery shopping--I should do that. Eathing bread and cereal for every meal isn't too smart.
Meal planning--. . . You should all try a frozen hot chocolate from DQ. You won't regret it.
Clothes shopping--too expensive.
Home décor shopping--share with 3 girls.
More scrapbooking--refer to number 1.
Pack lunches for tomorrow--I can just come home and eat lunch.
Wash sheets and pillow cases--maybe I should do this.

Great suggestions! I suppose I do have some things I could do today.

Well, I'm off to conquer the world.

Whoa this is a long post! I'm glad to hear that you keep the apartment clean! I should probably do some of those things on the list instead of posting comments, but this is too much fun!
