This past weekend, a group of friends and I went drove down to Cedar City to spend a few days away from Provo. We stayed at a beautiful home built for ten children and two parents and ate all the family's food! Two sisters in my ward are from Cedar City, and their parents graciously opened up their home to us. On Saturday we drove about 45 minutes-1 hour away to Zion's National Park. There we hiked Angel's Landing, and the view was magnificent. It is about a two-mile hike up the mountain and an additional half-mile hike up a rocky slope to the tippy top. During this final ascent you have to hold on to a chain so that you don't slip off! Did I mention I'm the only one sore from this whole ordeal? It's Tuesday! Still sore.

The group at the beginning of the hike.

The final destination. We will end up right there.

We took a little break to take a jumping picture at the loopy part.

If you slip, this is what you'll look like. Don't even try to pose.

Crazy hiker took his baby up the scary part.

I came, I climbed, I conquered.

Tippy top of the mountain--Angel's Landing.

Dusty's a goof and brought his mannequin head along for the ride.
None of us knew he had it; supposedly she tags along every time Dusty goes somewhere neat.
My cute roommates and me.
